LATEST August 2012 - Avril Lavigne is currently promoting her 'Abbey Dawn' third season of footwear. The 27-year-old singer says: "the brand's rock 'n' roll edge is bang on trend."

Canadian songstress Kylie Jenner is set to show off the 'Abbey Dawn' range at New York Fashion Week in September 2012 and take to the runway again wearing the latest designs.

Avril is a fan of the 15-year-old reality TV star, sister to the famous Kim, Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian.

Avril says: "It's a massive deal for me. To see the full collection at Fashion Week is really cool," "And Kylie is the edgy one (sister). I really like her."

Avril has described the typical Abbey Dawn customer:- 

"Initially, the brand started out as a juniors' line at Kohl's, but now it's at a bit of a higher price point. It's a lot cooler and better quality." "It's geared toward an older age group now, but juniors can still wear it. There are fun, bright colours, and we are making a bold statement. That's what Abbey Dawn is about - any girl who wants to express herself and be edgy."

Kylie Kristen Jenner (born August 10, 1997) is an American reality television star, model, and brand ambassador for Seventeen Magazine. She is best known for appearing in Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the E! reality series that she shares with her family.

Kylie Jenner was born in 1997 the younger of Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner's two daughters, making her the youngest of the couple's blended family of 10 children. She has a sister named Kendall Jenner and her half-siblings are Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, and Rob Kardashian , her mother's children with her ex-husband, attorney Robert Kardashian. She also has four older half-siblings from her father's first marriage: Burt Jenner, Brody Jenner, Brandon Jenner, and Casey Jenner. Kylie likes spending her time with her best friends Julia Friedmann and Anastasia Karanikolao, along with her older sister Kendall. She has 3 nieces and 1 nephew: Francessca and Isabella Marino from sister Casey; and Mason Dash and Penelope Scotland Disick from sister Kourtney and her longtime boyfriend Scott Disick.

She lives with her sister Kendall and their parents at the Jenner family home. Both sisters are cheerleaders in their high school.

Career

Jenner was first featured in Paper magazine's "Beautiful People" article series with Kendall. She began her modeling career with the Sears line "Crush Your Style". and has done photo shoots with OK! magazine, Teen Vogue, and photographer Nick Saglimbeni. Kylie has also modeled for her cousin Natasha's clothing company. She has expressed an interest in acting as well, but has explained that college is a greater priority. Also she modeled for Avril Lavigne collection Abbey Dawn Runway in 2011 New York Fashion Week. Once again, she pursued her love for runway by modeling for the official Hello Kitty Launch for Forever 21 in Los Angeles. Also, Seventeen Magazine has chosen Kylie along with [Kendall Jenner]] as Style Stars of 2011 and also the new 'Style Ambassadors' for the magazine. Kendall and Kylie have also been given the opportunity to host events such as the Glee 3D Concert Movie red carpet and the Breaking Dawn Part 1 red carpet event in Los Angeles; the two also did an interview in the Bing Box at The Hunger Games premiere on March 12, 2012.

Kylie has two nail lacquers from the Nicole O.P.I nail polish brand called "Wear Something Spar-kylie" and "Rainbow in the S-kylie". Rainbow in the S-kylie is a best seller in the whole Kardashian Kolor nail polish line. In 2012, Jenner was on the cover with her sister Kendall on Teen Vogue. Also, she was on the cover of Seventeen Magazine's Back-To-School September issue along with her older sister, Kendall Jenner.
