Lewes to Newhaven Raft Race September 2005

Join in the fun as crews try to sail their homemade rafts from Lewes to Newhaven. 2005 is the 30th anniversary of the raft race and promises to be a spectacular. The theme is 70s so expect plenty of frizzy hairdos and bad trousers!

The raft race is a charity fund raiser event organised by Lewes Round Table, and has so far raised over half a million pounds for local charities. Why not pop along and join in the fun?

To take part in the race please contact Kevin Powell via email or telephone for an information pack.

Date: Sunday 4th September
