Now
in it's 10th year, Seawork (incorporating DiveWork
and RibWork),
is the largest international commercial maritime
exhibition and business forum ever held in a European working port
environment. The Canary
Islands Fruit Terminal, ABP Port of Southampton, UK, offers a
unique combination of space and access to the port, for exhibitors.
I
visited the show on Wednesday the 13th June with two colleagues, also
interested in marine matters. The machinery and equipment on display was
to an exceptionally high standard, put together with friendly staff and
the day was bound to be enjoyable occasion for all.

The
boats on display were very interesting. We clambered over and under a
very fast Police launch and a Thames Harbour Patrol vessel at the other
end of the scale, which had been specifically developed and designed for
low cost running by Ecocats, through Southampton University.
