A FINE CREW for the SOLAR NAVIGATOR

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS PROJECT WAS ICED OVER TEN YEARS AGO

Solar Navigator is capable of sleeping 6 crew to sustain round the clock watches. The project manager has been assured by senior Navy personnel there will be no shortage of highly qualified persons to crew the circumnavigation expedition.

You will have read that the expedition planned for 2015 is to be autonomous, which of course means it does not need a crew. That said, we are inviting applications for crew for legs of the voyage by way of (scientific) observers of the world's first true robot ship in action, for the event planned for 2015.

Applications from sailors with blue water cruising, circumnavigation or competition experience are particularly welcome. All applications are accepted on the understanding that final decisions as to crewing are the absolute discretion of the event organisers.
