For about two years Sussex based, Charles Warren, has been developing his plans to restore this historic site, the aim being to bring it back to its former glory and secure a part of local history.

MILLPOND EXCAVATIONS and CLEARING WORKS

After what seemed an age, a planning application was made to Wealden District Council, with the backing of historical groups and the Parish Council.  Despite this the legalities were not concluded until July of 2002 by way of a Section 106 Agreement.

ROLLING THE MILLPOND RETAINING WALLS

Mr Warren plans to host business events and weddings using a Granary and other on site facilities.  The location is ideal for conferences, where executives can relax and enjoy the peaceful Sussex countryside and focus on business issues in surroundings conducive to productive thought.
