INVESTMENT and TOURISM OVERVIEW

RESTORATION

The site of the famous Twissells Mill is now managed by a Trust, the objective of which is to preserve this valuable local history.  The cost of multiple applications and an appeal was finally too much for the previous developer, Mr Charles Warren.  However, we are grateful to Mr Warren for the work he has undertaken, which we hope is appreciated by the locality and will not go to waste in the long term and provided we can find sponsors or other backers to the reconsruction.

The site of Twissells Mill is located in the heart of the Sussex weald in Nettleworth Lane, Old Heathfield, some two miles from Heathfield High Street.
